Meet The Team

Breastfeeding Counsellor

Sarah Harcombe

Sarah has been a breastfeeding counsellor with the NCT for over thirteen years and has supported hundreds of parents and babies on their feeding journey. Her own babies are all grown up teenagers now but she still remembers the challenges of new parenthood! One of the things she loves about volunteering with Nourish is getting to work with new families and watching parents confidence grow as their babies grow.

Peer Supporter | Nourish Committee Secretary

Tori Upham

Tori attended Nourish when pregnant with her son in 2018 and the support and friendliness of the group kept her coming back. Keen to give something back to the breastfeeding community she trained to become a peer supporter through Nourish in October 2019 and has been volunteering ever since. Tori has recently taken on the role of secretary for the Nourish Committee and is looking forward to this new chapter of her volunteering with Nourish.

Peer Supporter | Nourish Committee Member

Donna Butland

Donna and her 2 month old daughter first came to a breastfeeding group in Bridgwater run by Sarah. When the group moved to Cannington, Donna came too and over time began to help out at the group on a regular basis - her daughter is now 9 years old! Donna trained as a peer supporter and is also the chair of the Somerset Maternity Voices who work in partnership to improve maternity services across the county, and a go to for parents looking for support or information or want to share their feedback about their experience of maternity care.

Rebecca Fothergill

Rebecca first attended Sarah's group in Nether Stowey when her twins were tiny. She trained as a peer supporter in 2016 and helped to set up Nourish with 4 other ladies in 2017. Rebecca has qualified as a holistic sleep coach and runs her family sleep coach business.

Peer Supporter | Nourish Committee Member

Eleanor Jones

In 2016 I completed my peer support training with Sarah Harcombe under the NCT Baby Cafe. Being faced with closure due to lack of funding, myself, Sarah, Donna, Becky and Zoe established Nourish with funding from HPC in 2017. The rest they say is history! Outside of Nourish I am a baby and preschool swimming instructor with Swim Academy for Babies and I have recently undertaken training to run Bath Babies sessions which is a mixture of baby massage meeting early water experience to encourage bonding between baby and parent.
